Maritime Department

The Maritime Department at AU offers a comprehensive range of programs and services to the maritime sector that are tailored to suit both statutory and industry needs. These programs focus on quantifiable learning objectives and are competency-based. They are taught by knowledgeable, experienced, and professional instructors who employ a variety of current teaching techniques. Our goal is to assist the maritime sectors in ensuring that their employees have the information, skills, and attitudes necessary to operate safely and efficiently in a challenging environment.

Course 2
Aviation Department

As a major sector in industry, the aviation sector contributes to advancing development stimulating the economic cycle, and supporting the development of several areas in countries, particularly in terms of encouraging investment and promoting trade, culture, and tourism. The aviation sector seeks to increase the percentage annually based on an action plan and strategy to acquire a larger share in domestic and neighboring markets. Such strategic direction is dependent on achieving operational excellence in aviation through adopting measures such as improving its fleet network as well as increasing the efficiency of service provided, which turn will enhance competitiveness and operational performance. This aspired strategy is challenging to achieve unless a qualified young aviation cadre is availed, such cadre needs to highly trained and equipped with the latest scientific and practical theories and practices in the aviation industry.

Corporate Training Department

Corporate Training department was formed in 2009 as one of Australian College of Kuwait departments to cater for events, training, mentoring/coaching and consultancy needs of the public and private sector workforce. Now, as one of the Australian University departments, we will continue to deliver training with passion and engagement, we will build connections with adult learners and earn their trust through dedication, and the willingness to examine our own weaknesses and identify opportunities for growth.
